We’re Dixie Pawn, and we’ve been serving Hollywood for nearly 40 years.
What is Dixie Pawn?
We keep it simple.
You can buy pre-owned items.
You can sell things you no longer want.
You can pawn eligible items for a short-term loan.
And you can use layaway when available.
We work with gold and jewelry, electronics, tools, musical instruments, collectibles and more. We’re also a licensed FFL dealer.
Never been inside a pawn shop before? That’s completely fine. You don’t need to know how everything works before you walk in. Ask us questions.

Dixie Pawn is one of those businesses.
We’re located on North Dixie Highway, just north of Downtown Hollywood, with free parking right outside.
And if you’re getting settled into Hollywood, there’s a lot worth exploring beyond the usual tourist spots. The city has neighborhood and civic associations, public meetings, parks, local businesses and community events where residents can actually get to know the place they live.
You don’t have to know everything about Hollywood on day one.

Wait… What Does “Pawn” Mean?
This part confuses a lot of first-time customers.
Selling = you sell us the item.
Pawning = you use your item for a short-term loan.
With a pawn, the item is held as collateral. Repay the loan according to its terms, and you get your item back.
That’s the basic idea.
